CFNS Stakeholders Engagement Strategy

August 11, 2017

Dear CFNS Stakeholder,

The Coalition for Food and Nutrition Security (CFNS) is a group of policy and program leaders committed to fostering collaboration and evidence based advocacy for improved nutrition policies and programs in India. Since its inception, the CFNS has undertaken multiple initiatives in promoting food and nutrition security in India, getting actively engaged with the Government, bilateral, multilateral stakeholders and grass root NGOs. A strategic multi-year plan of CFNS outlines five key strategic initiatives where it should perform for next five years:

  • Sustained and Inclusive Membership Engagement
  • Knowledge Management
  • Evidence Based Advocacy
  • State Accountability to SDGs and WHA targets
  • Catalyse Behaviour Change

CFNS is seeking inputs from various stakeholders for effective implementation of the strategic multi-year initiatives outlined above. As an important stakeholder, CFNS is seeking your inputs in developing an Effective Stakeholders Engagement Strategy. As an independent consultant, I am facilitating the strategy development.

The Stakeholders Engagement Strategy draft document has to be ready by August 21, 2017.

The attached questionnaire and the list of events organized by CFNS is being shared with all the stakeholders. Your inputs are crucial for drafting the engagement strategy. You are requested to complete the questionnaire and return it to CFNS by August 16, 2017.

Queries if any may be addressed to me by email (vjsardana@hotmail.com) or phone (+91-9810402046).

Thanking you for your understanding and support, I look forward to your response.

Warm regards,

Vijay K. Sardana (9810402046)
