A meeting of the Governing Board with strategic importance was held on September 30, 2017 at The Coalition for Food and Nutrition Security’s office to discuss about future plans soon after Coalition’s engagement to a high level National conference on MISSION MALNUTRITON FREE INDIA-2022 of the Government of India which garnered a lot of attention for the Coalition. Governing Board was happy to note that Coalition achieved significant milestones and has been recognised as a trusted partner of choice among policy makers and development partners. The Governing Board constituted a ‘Policy Committee’ to provide ongoing support on evidence based advocacy and public policy in a comprehensive manner. The Board took a stock on the current and future funding and strategized actions on fund raising avenues and diversifying revenue growth. The Board decided to intensify actions on membership engagement, multi-sectoral result based district plan, knowledge management and evidence based advocacy.
