The capacity to provide quality nutrition services has been found to be a real challenge. Under the Multisector approach, training on First 1,000 Days to all the key Front Line Workers to manage and deliver the scaled up package of nutrition interventions in Assam. This was found to be one of the possible avenues to address within the health & nutrition sector by adding nutrition related responsibilities and capabilities among FLWs.
