The Coalition Vice Chair, Dr Chandrakant S Pandav has been co-opted as a member of the National Council on India’s Nutritional Challenges constituted under the POSHAN Abhiyan (NNM) of the Ministry of Women and Child Development (Reference- Office Memorandum: F.No.NNM/2/2017-WBP-Part 2 GoI) on April 5, 2018.

The National Council on India’s Nutritional Challenges will be providing policy directions to address India’s Nutritional Challenges through coordinated inter-sectoral action and review programmes on nutrition on a quarterly basis.
